Furry visitor April 24, 2005
As you may have seen on Mark’s blog, we have a small furry visitor.

Efforts to find his owners haven’t been successful so far and I have a sneaking suspicion that they won’t be. I just don’t think that kittens his size get lost easily. And it’s a bit of a coincidence that he ended up in the front yard of the only house in the street where 2 cats live.
Much as I am a sucker for a kitten any day, he can’t stay with us if his owners can’t be found. We have a full house and with all that’s going on in the next few weeks, settling a new family member in is not something I want to add to the list.
So, is everybody right for kittens? Or do you know anyone who would like a kitten?
I suppose we should allow a few days to a week for the owners to appear, but I don’t want to keep him any longer because I’ll get too attached. And, cute as he is, I don’t want to send him to a shelter where he’ll have to compete with lots of other cuties. I’m already attached enough to want to know where he’s going.

I am sitting here suffering cat-deprivation. I tried to pick up Scarlett from the vet where she has been boarding this weekend, but they were closed. How cute is Charlie? If I had my own place, I’d definitely take him. I could happily become a two-cat person again. But really sorry, I have enough trouble hiding one. I hope you find someone to take him in.
Since the siamese Lilli didn’t work out with jojof, perhaps she’ll need a little orange ball of fluff…? He’s such a sweet looking boy.
