Sorry the news is so late but the operation took a long time. From my best estimate about eight hours and then Nicky spent another three hours in recovery.
She is feeling pretty crappy at the moment on account of major sensitivity to light and sound not to mention double vision.
The doctor tells us that the operation was a success and went well. Nicky will not be up to visitors this week but I will certainly be printing off emails and taking them in.
If people want to send flowers please make them ones with low scent as scented things tend to give her a headache.
Would love to send flowers, but I don’t know where she is. Can you email the hospital details?
