Bye bye Charlie May 2, 2005
I decided last night/this morning that Charlie had to go. He was worming his way in to successfully. Even Cosmo seemed to be getting on OK with him.
I took him to AAPS in Keysborough today. A long way from the west, I know, but kind of near my mum’s and the only place I know of that doesn’t have a hard deadline for him to find a home.
I was less upset about leaving him than I thought I would be and was very gratified by the volunteer’s reaction to the news that he’d been vaccinated, flea’d & wormed. I’m sure they say it about all the kittens, but I was also very pleased to hear her say that he’d find a new home very quickly.
Thank you to those who were trying to help find a home for him. Perhaps you could refer anyone you come across to AAPS - they might meet Charlie anyway.
The house is still going to see a little quiet & empty without a little ginger fluffball.
