Cat on a warm tile roof June 14, 2005
At this time of year, and in the middle of summer, I worry about our neighbour’s cat, Fruity.
Fruity is a 100% outdoor cat. He’s never allowed inside and really seems to live in our front yard most of the time. In the extremes of the weather he does it tough. Recently he’s spent most of every day sleeping under the tea tree in front of our bedroom.
He wasn’t there today and I wondered where he’d find a dry spot after last night’s rain. A little while ago I happened to look out the ensuite window and my question was answered.

most people only have to worry about leaves in the gutters
