So much for the sunshine August 17, 2005
Well I bolted out of work early & picked Finn up on the way home, but after being yelled at by a toddler, I’m too stuffed to go enjoy the sunshine. And it’s really windy here too, which takes the fun out of it.
When I picked Finn up he was in the babies’ room, rather than toddlers’, because ‘there was no room in toddlers’. I’m a bit annoyed by this. If Foozley is in toddlers’ full time now, how can there be no room in toddlers’ for him? It’s probably no big deal, but something I’ll be keeping an eye on.
I felt a bit sorry for Finn too because all the big kids were outside charging around and he was stuck indoors with the littlies and I know he’d have loved to be outside.
And it makes you wonder. Was there really no room in the toddlers, or were they just saying that? We ‘just say stuff’ to the customers all the time, because it’s easier than explaining that their dog didn’t eat for three days (but now it’s fine), was attacked by a pomeranian (but now it’s fine) and nearly drowned in the hydrobath (but now it’s fine). Though it’s ok to do this with dogs, it’s not the same with little humans.
