I’ve reached the frustrating part of testing where I can’t close any more bugs & I have 8 high severity ones still outstanding. I should be able to close 2 or 3 of them tomorrow, but have no real hope of closing the others. I’ve gone over the list so many times now I feel like I can’t see them any more. The good bit is that the ones that are left don’t happen all the time, or may not affect too many users - I think…

On the finish date front, I rang HR today. I got directed to someone I’ve never heard of and left a message for him. My boss isn’t in today, so I’ll hassle him again tomorrow if I haven’t heard back from the HR person. A colleague suggested that I should just stop turning up after the 28th and see if anything happens. That would be OK if they just kept on paying me, but with my luck someone would notice. We are approaching the point at which stern words may have to be said.

Only a few more days of stern words and then a life of only soft and warm ones at home.

Yes, it does indeed look like stern words are in order. This is terribly, terribly slack.

good luck with the Sev 1s - i don’t suppose you can bludgeon the users into reclassifying them as Sev 2s, or perhaps leaving the TSR for someone else to do.

And good luck with HR. They’re the same in every organisation…
