I decided to keep Finn home from childcare today. He woke up really early and just seems very tired, so I figured a quiet day at home with Mum might be in order.
I do treasure the days I have all to myself and today would have been the last one until the week after next (Mark has next week off uni), but I really think the wee boy needs a break.
Of course, by Tuesday I’ll be more than happy to toss him through the door of the childcare centre and speed away in the car, but for now I like the idea of just him and I pottering around together.
I hope you two have a nice day and he doesn’t damage your calm too much. All things being equal I will be home by three.
Maybe you could both have an afternoon snooze?
