Lost my mojo April 22, 2006
I seemed to have lost my mojo for a little bit there. Fell into a bit of a funk.
I’m blaming a combination of migraine after effects, PMT, followed by actual period, combined with a little bit of seasonal affectiveness for it all. I’m planning to leap back into enjoying myself this week.
Part of my plan, though, involves staying away from the computer as much as possible, so there’s not likely to be much posting or commenting - not that there’s usually an avalanche. It just seems a bit healthier to be in more of a ‘doing’ mode than sitting in front of a screen (including the telly).
Well now it seems to work. I so agree about the computer. I spend all day at work in front of one. The last thing I want to do when I go home is park in front of another computer screen. But there’s always stuff that needs doing that needs a computer. Enjoy “doing” away from it!
i couldn’t agree more. when you’re at home the internet seems like such great company until you’re so addicted to it and there’s not enough satisfaction out of it that you become miserable. that was my experience anyway.
hey, we bought the davinci code board game on the weekend and haven’t had the tv on since which is a miracle. it’s the one with the logic puzzles and cryptic poems, rather than just the trivia questions if anyone’s interested. some questions super easy, some absolutely bastards - nice balance methinks.
