Where would you be hiding if you were a kitchen timer that a small boy had been playing with?
Or maybe the question should be:
If you were a small boy who wanted to drive his mother crazy where would you leave the kitchen timer?

I’ve been writing myself little daily lists of the things that need to get done in an effort to keep myself from vegetating in front of the telly &/or computer and to make sure stuff that needs to be done is. It works OK, but I’m generally knackered and grumpy by the end of the day which isn’t much fun for any of us.
Added to that all this busyness is taking a toll on my back. Sitting at a desk for 10 years was not an adequate preparation for day after day where every second task seems to involved bending to pick up toys, child, washing, etc. I’m pretty sure it will improve as i get fitter and stronger, but for the moment it hurts almost all the time and I think it needs a bit of a break.
This morning I wrote my list, looked at it and went “yeah …. nah” It’s been abandoned. This means that the PuppyDeluxe won’t get her walk today, but I’m reasonably sure I’ll be forgiven.
I waited for the sky to clear a bit before setting off for our walk. It was actually very sunny & quite warm by the time we went.
It was a shorter than usual trip on account of the PuppyDeluxe being a pain in the bum (maybe I should wear rollerskates so she can really tow me along?), but we got out there and she got her swim in the creek so it’s all good.
I don’t know whether to take Em for her walk or not. I really don’t feel like getting rained on.
