My goodness it’s Wednesday June 14, 2006
Finn had bread and butter for lunch and it looks like he’s having Cheezels for tea. I’ll be joining him. I’ll have Coke & chocolate for dessert, but Finn will have his usual custard & Giraffe drink. He’ll have it all in front of telly and will probably stay up really late because I can’t be bothered putting him back in bed a gazillion times. His bad mood tomorrow can be the childcare centre’s problem.
I suspect I should feel some guilt for crappy parenting, but I couldn’t give a rat’s today.
I’ll start all over again tomorrow with a shopping list to make a giant lasagne for Sunday lunch and a swag of good intentions.
I don’t think it’s crappy parenting to choose you battles. When you rule a toddler strictly I suspect it is the toddler who rules you.
sounds like my dinner. I had vanilla coke and a chocolate coated “brunch” bar and then tea and home made biscuits.
