Do not sell this woman a Siamese Fighting Fish June 11, 2008
They’ll be putting up a sign at our local Aquarium shop soon with my picture on it saying “Do not sell this woman a Siamese Fighting Fish”.
Andrew died last night.
I am at a complete fucking loss for what went wrong this time.
I think I’ll stick to goldfish.

I told a friend of mine about your fish troubles. He owned an aquarium in Bendigo for a while and is now breeding fish. (They’re gorgeous, but I have no idea what they are.) He says you’ve just been given wrong advice. Maybe he needs to start a fish forum. It seems there’s not a lot he doesn’t know about them. Or I could put you in touch with him.
Thanks, but I’m thinking of just giving it all rest for a while. I find bringing a fish home, only to have them day a few days later really upsetting and don’t want to risk it again.
Mark has a ‘fish connection’ at work who actually stopped keeping bettas 15 years ago because they were too hard to keep alive. He now keeps marine fish.
I’ll be happy to keep our goldfish alive.
