My Garden List
Joanna’s garden list has inspired me to write my own.
Back Garden
weed - really noticing that we don’t have a chook any more
get into the habit of watering again (from the washing machine)
fix up the vegie garden and plant my thornless blackberry
put a dog-proof guard around the little peach tree
attach the climbing rose to the fence behind it.
plant out the little pot plants I have hanging around
set up a pot to grow salad greens in
rake and redistribute the tan bark - see if we need another metre or so to reduce the dustiness.
clean out the cat run
feed the plants (my half-arsed attempts to clean up the garage have shown that I can remember to buy plant food, but not to use it)
Front Garden
dig out the tasmanian flax lilies and replant the salvageable ones down the side of the house
dig out the tea tree, little gum tree and the variegated agonis - they’ve all had it.
buy and plant some bottle brushes to replace the trees above.
weed
buy some indigenous groundcovers and grasses from the newport lakes nursery and fill the garden and nature strip with them.
get rid of the old bird bath.

Keep cleaning it out
